Yin Ye Monastic School
 
Education is the basis for development in every family and society. With this in mind, in 1992 we established a monastic school in our village (Yin Ye Village, in Depayin Township, Sagaing Division, MYANMAR) for there was no (has not yet been any) government school in the village. Until 2007 it had been affiliated to a government school of a neighboring village.  In 2007 it was registered as a monastic school. Then primary education was offered. In 2010 it was upgraded so that secondary level education is provided.
Our objectives are:
- To promote the education of the underprivileged children;
- To provide "a free education" for all students without any distinction; and
- To introduce the Teachings of the Buddha to them.
In accordance with the objectives, we provide the students from the village and neighboring villages with the opportunity to learn how to read, write, and calculate exactly as taught in government schools; additionally we introduce the Teachings of the Buddha to the children. At present 125 students of male and female are learning at the school enjoying equal rights. The school is self-funded and receives no government grants. Until now we haven't yet offered a free education to them due to insufficient fund. But parents of the students are to pay only a small amount of money, the so-called “monthly tuition fee,” Myanmar Kyat 500 to 1000 (less than US $1) that is meant to cover: 1) the 25 percent (Myanmar Kyat 15, 000) of 4 teachers’ salaries (Myanmar Kyat 120, 000) and 2) the cost of ongoing school construction that has been completed by about 60 percent and that is estimated to cost Myanmar Kyat 1, 00, 00, 000 in total. Some parents are so poor that they cannot afford to pay any fees for their children. As a result, the poorest children often consider leaving the school, and we have to encourage them to stay. However, we hope that the school, one day, will surely be a free education center for children when a sufficient fund is established.

We believe that the surplus of the rich may effectively and efficiently be put to use for the benefit of the poor and needy. You may have heard the following story: Once a young student removed the door-curtain to his house and gave it to a poor person, telling his mother “The door does not feel the cold but the poor certainly do.” Such a kind heart is highly commendable. If you are willing to help the underprivileged children studying at the school, please contact our representatives in your region, or you may get in touch with the school’s supporting groups. You may also come to the school directly to offer either supports or thoughtful ideas. Donations in any amount or suggestions for the betterment of the school will have a great impact on the children in need, and will surely change their life for the better.

ရင္းရဲဘ-ကပညာေရးေက်ာင္း

ပညာေရးသည္ အသိုက္အ၀န္း အဖြဲ႕အစည္း အားလုံး၏ တိုးတက္ေရးအတြက္ အေျခခံေကာင္း ျဖစ္၏။ ထိုအခ်က္ကို သိေသာေၾကာင့္ အစိုးရမူလတန္းေက်ာင္း မဖြင့္လွစ္ရေသး ေသာ စစ္ကိုင္းတိုင္း၊ ဒီပဲရင္းၿမိဳ႕နယ္၊ ရင္းရဲရြာ၌ ဘုန္းေတာ္ႀကီးေက်ာင္းပညာေရး မူလတန္း ေက်ာင္းကို ၁၉၉၂-ခုႏွစ္တြင္ စတင္တည္ေထာင္ ဖြင့္လွစ္ခဲ့ပါသည္။ စင္စစ္အားျဖင့္ ၂၀၀၇ ခုႏွစ္အထိ တြဲဘက္မူလတန္းေက်ာင္းတစ္ခုသာ ျဖစ္ခဲ့ပါသည္။ ၂၀၀၇ ခုႏွစ္တြင္ ဘုန္းေတာ္ႀကီးသင္ပညာေရးေက်ာင္းအျဖစ္ မွတ္ပံုတင္ခဲ့ပါသည္။ ၂၀၁၀ ခုႏွစ္တြင္ သတၱတန္းအထိ ပညာသင္ေပးႏိုင္ေသာ မူလြန္အဆင့္သို႔ တိုးျမႇင့္ခဲ့ပါသည္။

ေက်ာင္း၏ ရည္ရြယ္ခ်က္မ်ားမွာ
- ကေလးငယ္တို႔၏ အေျခခံ ပညာေရးကို ျမႇင့္တင္ေပးရန္ ႏွင့္
- ၎ကေလးငယ္တို႔ကို ဗုဒၶတရားေတာ္ႏွင့္ ထိေတြ႔ေပးရန္တို႔ ျဖစ္ပါသည္။
ရည္ရြယ္ခ်က္မ်ားႏွင့္ အညီ ဤမူလတန္းေက်ာင္း၌ အစိုးရအေျခပညာ မူလတန္းေက်ာင္း မ်ား၏ သင္႐ိုးႏွင့္ ဗုဒၶဘာသာ သခၤန္စားမ်ားကို သင္ၾကားေပးပါသည္။

ေက်ာင္းတိုးတက္တည္တံ့ေရးအတြက္ အမ်ားျပည္သူတို႔၏ ေထာက္ပံ့မႈကို ခံယူရပါသည္။ ၁၉၉၂ ခုႏွစ္ကတည္းက ေက်ာင္းကို အဓိက ေထာက္ပံ့သူမ်ားမွာ ရြာသူရြာသားမ်ား (အထူးသျဖင့္ ေက်ာင္းသားမိဘမ်ား) ျဖစ္ပါသည္။ မတည္ရံပုံေငြအျဖစ္ ရည္ရြယ္ေကာက္ခံေသာ ေက်ာင္းသား တစ္ေယာက္၏ လစဥ္ေက်ာင္း၀င္ေၾကး (အတန္းအလိုက္ ၅၀၀-က်ပ္ မွ ၁၀၀၀-က်ပ္အထိ)ကို ေက်ာင္းသား မိဘမ်ားက လွဴဒါန္းၾကရပါသည္။ ႏြမ္းပါးေသာ ေက်ာင္းသားမိဘမ်ားမွာ အနိမ့္ဆံုး လစဥ္ေက်ာင္း၀င္ေၾကးကိုပင္ မထည့္၀င္ မလႉဒါန္းႏိုင္ၾကေပ။ ထို႔ေၾကာင့္ ႏြမ္းပါး၍ စိတ္အား ငယ္တတ္ေသာ ေက်ာင္းသား တစ္ခ်ိဳ႕ ေက်ာင္းထြက္ထြက္ သြားတတ္ၾကရာ ေက်ာင္းသို႔ မၾကာခဏ ျပန္ေခၚရသည္လည္း ရွိပါသည္။ ထိုေက်ာင္းသားမ်ား၏ ေက်ာင္းစရိတ္ကို ၀ိုင္း၀န္းကူညီ ေျဖရွင္းေပးၾကရပါသည္။

ရြာသူရြာသားမ်ား၏ ကိုယ္ထူကိုယ္ထ ပါ၀င္မႈႏွင့္ ေဒသအသီးသီးမွ အလႉရွင္တို႔၏ ပံ့ပိုးမႈတို႔ကို ေပါင္းစည္း၍ ေက်ာင္းသားတိုင္းကို အခမဲ့ ပညာသင္ၾကား ေပးႏိုင္ေအာင္ စီမံလ်က္ ရွိပါသည္။ ျပည့္စုံသူတို႔၏ တစ္ပိုင္းတစ္စ အပိုအလွ်ံသည္ ႏြမ္းပါသူတို႔ အတြက္ အားေပးႏွစ္သိမ့္မႈ ျဖစ္ႏိုင္ေပသည္။ ပုံျပင္ေလးတစ္ခု ၾကားဖူးၾကေပလိမ့္မည္။ ‘‘တစ္ခါေသာ္ ေက်ာင္းသားလူငယ္ တစ္ေယာက္သည္ သူ၏ တံခါးခန္းဆီးစကို ျဖဳတ္၍ သူဆင္းရဲ တစ္ေယာက္ကို ေပးလိုက္၏။ ‘ေမေမရယ္ တံခါးေပါက္ေတြက ေအးတာခ်မ္းတာကို မခံစားတတ္ပါဘူး။ လူဆင္းရဲေတြကမွ တကယ္ခံစား ေနၾကရတာပါ’ဟု သူ႔အေမကို ေျပာေနသည့္ လူဆင္းရဲေလးကို ေပးခဲ့ျခင္းျဖစ္သည္။’’ ဤသို႔ ၾကင္နာတတ္ေသာ လူသားတို႔၏ သဘာ၀ကို ခ်ီးက်ဴးထိုက္ ေပသည္။ 

တတ္ႏိုင္သည့္နည္းျဖင့္ စြမ္းႏိုင္သေလာက္ ကူညီပံ့ပိုး ေပးျခင္းသည္ ရြာသူ ရြာသားငယ္တို႔၏ အေျခခံပညာေရးအတြက္ ျဖဴစင္မြန္ျမတ္ေသာ အေထာက္အပံ့ေကာင္း ျဖစ္ပါလိမ့္မည္။
